About the ESCP

What is the ESCP?

The European Society for Communicative Psychotherapy is an association which aims to further the development of the communicative approach to psychotherapy and explore its wider implementation. We would like to encourage individuals to join who are interested in unconscious communication, concerns about the imbalance of power within the therapeutic relationship, as well as boundary issues in psychotherapy and other contexts.

The ESCP runs a number of activities and study programmes throughout the year. It holds an annual coference where the latest papers regarding the Communicative Approach are presented.

Anyone interested in joining the Society, please complete the form on the Contact Us page and e-mail it to the ESCP. We will then send you further details by return.

ESCP accredited by the European Certificate of Psychotherapy

On 24th October 1998 in Brussels, the ESCP was ratified as one of the first of seven European Wide Organisations to be accepted by the European Association of Psychotherapy as an accredited organisation for the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (for individual psychotherapists as well as communicative training courses).

For those who wish to be considered for the European Certificate in Communicative Psychotherapy contact the Chair of the ESCP, via info@escp.org.
